The future of the jewelry industry is something that the Plumb Club takes seriously. In fact, two of the association’s brand promises are to educate the industry and spur innovation, and its vision is to help shape the industry’s future. In keeping with these goals, in March the Plumb Club will launch the Jewelers Resource Center. Part of the revolutionary TPC-365 platform, this industry-enriching database is a comprehensive source of jewelry-industry knowledge. It’s the ultimate jewelry search tool: easy to use, available at the click of a mouse, and open 365 days a year!
The Jewelers Resource Center is a virtual 3-D environment that allows visitors to navigate the space at their own pace, search jewelry-related information, and receive learning modules in auditory and visual formats.
Upon entering, double doors part, and the visitor steps into a skylit atrium, soaring three stories above the resource center floor, which is centered by an inset TPC-365 medallion. The surrounding space is filled with learning opportunities and explorable objects. On one side of the atrium, the visitor will find a reading area, where they can browse a plethora of articles on pertinent topics, such as sales training, in-store designing, and consumer insights, all of which were written by trusted industry sources. On the other side, the listening area provides access to auditory learning via podcasts exclusively produced for the Plumb Club. These deliver insights and ideas from leading industry experts and can be easily downloaded for listening at the visitor’s convenience.
The perimeter of the space is populated by a number of other rooms. The Viewing Room leads to an archive of easy-to-access visual learning content, training, and educational videos. The Sourcing Room provides an abundance of qualified jewelry service providers for everything from accounting and marketing services to web development and more. The Reference Center contains an expansive online library of jewelry tables, documents, and easy-access links to find information on diamonds, gemstones, metals, FTC guidelines, and more. Additionally, there’s a precious metal price board, which is updated daily. Visitors can stay up-to-date on daily industry headlines in the News Room, which displays a live news feed. Each space allows visitors to search for specific information, categories, or headlines.
The Plumb Club Auditorium is at the far end of the space. Upon entering, a visitor will be guided to a front-row seat for live industry events as they happen. Learning opportunities, webinars, and presentations will be scheduled regularly throughout the year to help retailers with essential business needs.
The Jewelers Resource Center will offer the industry instant access to everything related to jewelry information. Virtual is the future of business, and the future is here with the Jewelers Resource Center at TPC-365, provided to the industry by the Plumb Club. Take a look: plumbclub.com/jewelers-resource-ctr/.
