Zadok Jewelers, Houston, a 25-year-old family-owned and managed jewelry store, recently received the 2000 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Excellence in the retail category.

Zadok Jewelers opened in 1976, after Helene and Dror Zadok’s arrival in Houston from Jerusalem the previous year. Dror Zadok had been trained in his father’s shop in the King David Hotel and brought with him six generations worth of knowledge about gems and jewelry.

The Zadoks recently brought their sons, Jonathan, 26, and Segev, 24, into the business, representing the seventh generation of the Zadok family in the jewelry business.
