The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2003 with a series of activities during the year. The first event to mark this milestone will honor its past presidents and some of the original founders at a party to be held in New York City on March 3. Called “WJA’s 20th Anniversary Salute,” it will be held at Doubles, an exclusive private club in the Sherry Netherland Hotel starting at 6 p.m. As with past WJA spring events, it was planned to coincide with the MJSA Expo New York, according to event vice president Julianne Jaffe. The list of women to be honored will be announced in January.
The cost for the March 3 event, which includes cocktails and a buffet supper, is $95 for WJA members and $110 for nonmembers. For more information contact WJA headquarters at (973) 575-7190
