Wheeler Manufacturing Co. Inc., Lemmon, S.D., a producer of jewelry for the American tourism trade, has purchased the Prairie Rose jewelry line. Prairie Rose, which consists of gold necklaces, rings, and earrings, will be sold alongside Wheeler’s Dakota Gold line.

Wheeler purchased the Prairie Rose line from Bernard Schumacher, the line’s founder and designer. The line is based on the image of the North Dakota state flower, the prairie rose. Schumacher also founded the Gold Rush line of jewelry.
