Links, geometric designs, and satiny finishes will be among the hot gold trends for the holiday and into 2003, according to the World Gold Council.
Using links in novel ways in nearly every category represents a top trend among gold jewelry designers. Whether flat, bold, and highly polished or nonsymmetrical and variously sized, the traditional link look has a new life this fall.
Geometry is another strong trend. Examples include hammered gold squares and circles and bunches of shapes piled together.
Finally, it is texture that gold designers are embracing most lovingly this fall and winter. With weaves and finishes that bring out the rich, warm hue of yellow gold, this is jewelry that begs to be touched.
