VNU Expositions Jewelry Group and Couture International Jeweler magazine have announced that they are planning to hold the next Couture Leadership Conference in 2007. The change from an annual event to a biennial one, said management, will allow VNU time to assess the needs of its couture members and plan accordingly. Since its inception in 2004, the focus of the conference has been on the diamond business.

The decision was based on formal and informal surveys of attendees and a recommendation from its advisory council.
