Marie Bodman, president of Breitling USA [left] chats with actor and pilot John Travolta during September’s 2005 Reno Air Races, which the luxury Swiss watch brand has sponsored for six years. Travolta, featured in Breitling’s 2005 ad campaign, visited with Breitling’s guests from across the United States at its hospitality chalet and saw “Rare Bear” piloted by John Penny win the Breitling Unlimited Gold Championship. Also performing were the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and Canadian Snowbirds doing their signature formation flights at extreme heights and speeds. Breitling has made timepieces for pilots for 90 years.
