Kaiser Time, New York, has teamed up with the LGI Network to introduce LGI’s Time Tracker service. Time Tracker integrates data from retailers representing more than 3,000 retail jewelry stores across the country, including more than 75% of the leading jewelry chains in the United States. LGI transforms the data into “market intelligence” to support jewelry retailing.
The data help retailers improve inventory turnover by identifying product trends and flagging slow-turning models, allowing retailers to benchmark performance to other retailers, and assisting retailers in making big investment decisions such as whether to take on a new line or to renovate the store. Manufacturers and distributors can utilize LGI Network’s information to improve performance in new product development, sales and distribution, forecasting and production planning, and in establishing the cost-effectiveness of advertising and promotion expenditures.
