The 2003 edition of the Tendence Lifestyle trade fair will be held Aug. 22-26 in Frankfurt, Germany. However, unlike past Tendence trade shows, this one will not be structured by product groups; instead, it will be organized on the basis of “lifestyle worlds.” The new “Joy” thematic world will be distinguished by assortments that are colorful and fantastic, amusing and unusual. It will include products for celebrating, decorating, furnishing, beauty, and pampering. According to show management, this category is appropriate for dealers who focus on gift articles, stationery, and seasonal items.
A special show-within-the-show, titled “Pink Boudoir,” will feature designer Petra Strickstrock’s insights into a segment that defines people’s intimate lifestyles—fragrances, jewelry, cosmetics, and personal accessories.
