Midwest Conglomerate Acquires Southwest Silver Star

The Hoeweler Group of Cincinnati recently acquired Shube’s Manufacturing, a maker of handcrafted silver jewelry in Albuquerque, N.M. Shube’s Manufacturing will now be known as Shube’s Inc.

The Hoeweler Group owns and manages varied businesses including South Dakota Gold.

Hot Diamonds Awards Mini Cooper Sweepstakes Winner

Theresa Wing, of Custer, Mich., won a 2006 Mini Cooper in the Hot Diamonds Mini Cooper Sweepstakes.

Wing turned in her winning entry at Closson’s Jewelry in Ludington, Mich., during the holiday shopping season before the end of 2005. Closson’s Jewelry was one of more than 200 stores nationwide that participated in the contest. There was also a prize for the owners of Closson’s Jewelry: a Caribbean cruise for two.
