Sally Morrison, director of the Diamond Information Center, was honored at the Concerned Parents for AIDS Research spring luncheon at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City. Fellow honoree Sharon Stone also was on hand as longtime friend Harvey Weinstein presented Morrison with her award. CPFA is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to secure an AIDS-free future for all children by funding basic-biomedical and clinical research projects that will hopefully lead to a more complete understanding of the disease.
