William Kouns has been promoted to president of Jewelry Television. Kouns was formerly senior vice president and chief operating officer of the Knoxville, Tenn.–based television network. Kouns succeeds Bob Hall, who was recently named chairman and chief executive officer of the channel.

Daisy Chin-Lor was appointed to the new position of senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Mayors, the Sunrise, Fla.–based jewelry chain. She will hold the same position with Birks, the Canadian jewelry chain that assumed control of Mayors in August 2002. Chin-Lor previously served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer for Elizabeth Arden.

Candles of Beeswax, the exclusive North American distributor of John Hardy, appointed Terri Eagle as president and chief executive officer. Eagle was most recently COO of David Yurman.
