Northeastern Fine Jewelry, Schenectady, N.Y., opened its third store in July, at 4620 Main St. in Manchester Center, Vt. The grand opening included the unveiling of a rare pink diamond ring set in platinum and 18k rose gold. The store’s owner, Ray Bleser, will donate 10% of the proceeds from the sale of the ring (anytime within the next year) to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Upstate New York and Vermont.

During a private cocktail reception attended by hundreds of residents as well as business and community leaders, Northeastern launched the grand opening by donating 5% of proceeds to Hildene, the Manchester landmark and estate that serves as an educational and cultural resource and as a memorial to the family of Abraham Lincoln.
