The International Jewellery London 2002 show will be held Sept. 1-4 at the Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre. Attendees will find gold, silver, and fine jewelry as well as gems, silver hollowware, precious gift items, watches, clocks, specialist packaging, tools, and technology.
Highlights will include the on-site Theatre of Jewellery, with four fashion shows each day, and the Jules Awards presentation to the best jewelry, products, and presentation/display by exhibitors. In addition, Gem-A and GIA London will offer advice to visitors, as will other major national trade associations including the National Association of Goldsmiths and the British Jewellers’ Association.
The Assay Offices of Great Britain will be promoting the Golden Jubilee Hallmark, a special additional mark applied to precious metals between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2002. The Assay Office also will provide advice on general hallmarking.
