Knoxville, Tenn.-based Jewelry Television has announced an affiliation agreement with Comcast that will provide carriage opportunities on Comcast’s Digital Cable service. Under the agreement, Jewelry Television has been made available to an additional 3.2 million Comcast customers in markets such as Boston, Philadelphia, northern and central New Jersey, Atlanta, and Pittsburgh. In addition, Comcast systems across the United States may elect to add Jewelry Television to their lineup.
Founded in 1993, Jewelry Television is available in approximately 45 million full-time equivalent multichannel households and is seen in another 25 million homes on a part-time basis.
