JA/MJSA Net Inc. has appointed Steven Kravit as chief executive officer. Kravit has more than twenty years’ experience in the jewelry industry and plans to develop the Web company into the leading online portal for jewelers in all segments of the trade.

Kravit recently served as chief operating officer at Kurgan & Cheviot, a jewelry manufacturer in Los Angeles. He has been involved in various aspects of the jewelry marketplace and designed and implemented a state-of-the-art computer office system to manage daily operations. JA/MJSA Net Inc. will be operational by Oct. 1.
