The International Gemological Institute (IGI) recently received the 2002 Jewellery World Expo Award for Best Marketing.
IGI used this year’s Jewellery World Expo, a trade show serving Canada’s fine-jewelry market, to publicize and launch the opening of its newest diamond laboratory in Toronto. To celebrate the lab’s opening, IGI hosted a champagne and strawberry reception for all show attendees and used signage, show bags, and badge inserts to further its message and expand its show exposure.
