The Hong Kong Jewellery & Watch Fair, held Sept. 20-24, drew 30,665 registered visitors from 129 countries and regions as well as 1,774 exhibitors from 47 countries and regions. The fair saw a 21% rise in the number of trade visitors from the Asia-Pacific region, especially from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, India, and Indonesia. One special feature of the show was the parade of finalists’ pieces from the Tahitian Pearl Trophy Design competition.
