The Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) has selected the Gemological Institute of America’s Web site, www.gia.edu, as an important resource for researchers, scientists, and scholars. ISI will include the site in its Current Web Contents.

According to ISA, GIA’s Web site was selected through “careful evaluation criteria,” and judged on such factors as authority, accuracy, currency, navigation and design, applicability and content, scope, audience level, and quality of writing.
