If all goes as planned, newly engaged women everywhere will no longer have to awkwardly poise their hands to catch the proper light when showing off their diamond rings.
The Louisiana-based Re’Volve recently launched a jewels-in-motion gemstone-rotating device at the Basel fair and The JCK Show ~ Las Vegas. The technology allows the beauty of a stone to be maximized because its motion allows constant light reflection.
Re’Volve was formed in 1998, bringing together a group representing academics, jewelry manufacturers, business professionals, and engineers. By researching, exploring feasibility, and taking advantage of advances in microtechnology, the company developed a system that subtly rotates a stone within a piece of jewelry.
