Everyone’s seen the computer programs that allow a woman to see what she’d look like in a variety of different hairstyles. Now jewelry designer Tammy Kohl is taking the same interactive concept into jewelry design.
Kohl, owner of Takohl, Chicago, has launched an interactive Web site that allows jewelers and their customers to create visual images of their own personalized Takohl Treasure Rings.
The rings, which feature a hidden latch that opens the ring band to reveal an inscription or gemstones, can be custom-made. The new Web site function allows customers to choose a ring size, select an inscription and engraving style, and add various gemstones or symbols. Next, the customer can choose a latch style with any gemstone or metal option. Finally, the consumer can preview and print a copy of the ring, for the true jewelry fashion interactive experience.
