MDS Prestige Company Inc. has named gift industry veteran Cécile R. Marquette to the position of executive vice president, sales and marketing. The newly established company, headquartered in Sun Valley, Calif., is owned and operated by several Italian manufacturers of fine wooden inlay jewelry boxes and high-end furniture.

Marquette joins MDS Prestige Company after more than four years with Reuge Music USA Ltd. as vice president, sales and marketing. Prior to her employment with Reuge, Marquette was sales manager for French & Pacific Trading Corp., a company that imports an exclusive line of high-end French collectibles.
