Shreve, Crump & Low president and CEO Merritt W. Mayher has been appointed to the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC) board of directors. She has served as president and CEO of Shreve, Crump & Low and Schwarzschild Jewelers since March 2003, and is the first female to serve in this position for both companies.
Wolf Designs has named Kimberly Kiss director of business development for the Mid-Atlantic region effective immediately. Prior to joining Wolf Designs in 2001 as national sales manager, Kiss previously was licensing manager for Barth & Dreyfuss, and assistant manager of sales and marketing for The Zrike Company. She has officially relocated to the East Coast and will be based in her home state of New Jersey.
D. Keith Ford, CPA, has been appointed chief financial officer of Chippenhook. Ford will oversee the accounting finance, credit, legal, and MIS departments and direct the company’s continued growth by utilizing his expertise in inventory management, distribution, and international mergers and acquisitions.
David Bradshaw has joined Chippenhook as vice president of business development. Bradshaw is responsible for broadening the scope of products and services offered to customers worldwide, and will focus on expanding Chippenhook’s custom store fixturing division.
Congress Jewelers announced the recent promotion of Carlos Fernandez to district manager, responsible for the Bonita Springs and Key West, Fla., stores. He was previously general manager of the Sanibel Island store. Marybel Benzrihem has been named general manager of the Sanibel Island store. She has more than 19 years’ industry experience. Sam Savage was named general manager of the new Naples store. He has more than 30 years jewelry industry experience and has been with Congress for more than two years.
