The American Gem Society (AGS) presented its 2001 Triple Zero Awards to five honorees during the AGS Circle of Distinction Dinner held July 31 at the Rainbow Room in New York. The recipients were Helene Fortunoff of Fortunoff Fine Jewelry; Gabi Tolkowsky of Gabi Tolkowsky & Sons BVBA; Laurie Hudson of the Platinum Guild International; and Kikuichiro Ishii and Koichi Takahashi, both of Mikimoto (America) Co. Ltd.
The AGS Triple Zero Award was established to recognize members of the jewelry industry for their accomplishments and contributions. Recipients are not required to be AGS members or titleholders but must have a record of service to the industry and uphold the professional excellence and ethical standards of the AGS.
