The American Gem Society (AGS) will offer classes this month at its campus facility in Las Vegas. The GIA Diamond Grading extension class begins Sept. 16, and two GIA Diamond seminars—”Identifying Synthetic Diamonds and Synthetic Moissanite” and the Advanced Diamond Grading Lab Seminar—will be held Sept. 21. Classes are open to anyone in the industry and are taught by GIA instructors; students earn credits towards a GIA degree. Classes are limited to 36 students.
