Award-winning 12-year-old fine jewelry manufacturer Yael Designs recently opened its first jewelry showroom in San Francisco’s Union Square neighborhood.
Located in a famed art gallery building at 49 Geary Street—which houses more than a dozen fine art and photography galleries—Yael Designs’ 1,400-square-foot showroom is situated across the street from Paul Smith and Alexander McQueen shops.
“We’re very excited to bring Yael Designs to San Francisco’s prime fashion neighborhood,” CEO Yehouda Saketkhou told the press. “Our position among high fashion boutiques and art galleries gives us a chance to bridge the gap between art, jewelry, and fashion, expanding the public’s appreciation of jewelry as an art form.”
The showroom is by appointment only. And a good omen for the new venture serendipitously surfaced when another milestone took place on the day of the space’s opening party: Saketkhou’s first daughter, Darina, was born!
“Having my daughter and the grand opening makes this easily the best day of my life,” Saketkhou added.
