The New York City–based designer branches out to bridal with her love of round-looking silhouettes
Cabochon cuts and negative space are the stars of Manhattan-based Daria de Koning’s signature line, and now she’s offering the look for wedding rings. Enter her new Daria de Koning Bridal line, which debuted to the trade last month.
To start, there are five engagement ring SKUs and upwards of 10 bands, but she really encourages consumers to customize. Pieces are made in 18k gold and feature rose-cut diamonds, cabochon-cut sapphires, emeralds, and rubies, but all are customizable. Buy-in is about six pieces, bands start at $1,600, and engagement rings start at $2,500.
