San Diego–based watch and accessories brand Vincero, which operates solely online, has unveiled a new watch collection to celebrate its seven-year anniversary. Called the Reserve Automatic collection, the line is being described by the company its “most impressive watch collection to date.”
The Reserve Automatic collection pays attention to detail and craftsmanship. Every watch face has a full month, day, and date calendar, protected by a double-domed sapphire crystal glass. The exhibition case back reveals the interior of the watch’s high-powered automatic movement; visually beautiful, it makes a statement on its own. The timepieces are powered by natural motion. In other words, as long as the wearer keeps moving, the Reserve will too.
“To celebrate our anniversary, we wanted to create a watch that demonstrates the exquisite craftsmanship that goes into our products,” Tim Nybo, cofounder of Vincero, tells JCK. “It’s by far our most complicated timepiece to date, and we’re excited for watch collectors and enthusiasts to get their hands on it.”
Founded in 2014 by Nybo and his friends Sean Agatep and Aaron Hallerman, Vincero crafts every product with sustainability in mind and has earned a 100% carbon-neutral certification. The company has partnered with Climate Neutral, an independent nonprofit organization, to control its greenhouse gas emissions.
“There are amazing high-end watches on the market that offer unrivaled quality,” said Nybo in a statement. “There are also affordable watches that are cheap and low quality. Our goal was to deliver the middle ground we believed was missing. Solid, well-made products delivered at an unrivaled value. Every time you receive one of our products, we want you to feel like you got more than what you paid for.”
In addition to watches, Vincero also manufacturers sunglasses, blue light–blocking glasses, and bracelets.
