Van Cleef & Arpels has appointed Alain Bernard president and CEO of its Americas division.
Since 2010, Bernard has served as Van Cleef & Arpels’ president and CEO for the Japan region. He came to Van Cleef from Cartier, which, like Van Cleef, is owned by the Richemont Group.
“Mr. Bernard’s contributions have been instrumental in Van Cleef & Arpels’ development over a challenging period in Japan. As he embarks on new challenges, his extensive experience will be critical to the Maison’s continued dedication to the Americas,” said Nicolas Bos, worldwide president and CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels, in a statement.
Bernard will be based in New York City.
