Dominic Hofert, the owner of Hofert Jewelers in Kenmore, N.Y., has been reported missing since Feb. 2, according to various local news sources.
Hofert reportedly disappeared from behind his home at around 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 2. Police have ruled out foul play, according to a local TV station, but are zeroing in on a set of footprints that stopped at a local river, raising suspicion that he slipped and drowned. A subsequent Coast Guard search did not find any trace of the missing man.
