In Muswell Hill there is a gallery that’s been called “London’s hidden gem,” but inside Tomfoolery, there’s nothing hidden about the incredible gems it showcases.
That’s exponentially true with the boutique’s annual Art Ring exhibition, a celebration of bold design and craftsmanship exemplified by the works of 28 featured designers.
Each one-of-a-kind ring was created specifically for the showcase, with styles ranging from those heavily adorned with gemstones to solitaire style pieces, many in yellow gold, some in white. While the featured rings often differ greatly, the collection feels cohesive, held together by the pure notion of individuality—each kissed by a designer’s perspective, they share a common thread in that they were inspired, dreamed, and ultimately created, by an artist.
Art Ring will be on display at London’s Tomfoolery (as well as online) through Jan. 31, 2023. Visitors to the exhibit, both in person and online, have the opportunity to read about the inspiration behind each design as well as see a sketch of each work.
