If you’re a small business owner who uses TikTok, why not let the popular social media app help you create your ad campaigns?
It was recently announced that TikTok has partnered with Vimeo and Canva, a video platform and design-template platform, respectively, to assist small businesses (SMBs) in streamlining the content-creation process to make advertising on TikTok easier.
By using Vimeo Create, advertisers can produce and publish ads directly through TikTok’s ad manager. The artificial intelligence–driven video production tool features custom video templates developed in a partnership between the two platforms, which have been optimized for use on TikTok.
“TikTok is a vital channel for reaching and converting customers online, but for SMBs that are limited on resources, video is often too complex and expensive to do well,” said Richard Bloom, senior vice president of business development for Vimeo, in a statement. “In teaming up with TikTok and integrating Vimeo’s best-in-class tools, we’re empowering every business— regardless of their budget or size—to grow with video.”
In addition to teaming up with Vimeo, TikTok is also working with Canva, an online library of templates that makes it easy to create everything from social media posts to résumés. Canva now has a library of more than 50 TikTok ad templates, enabling brands to input their personalized spin without having to create the content from scratch.
“Since day one, Canva’s mission has been to empower the world to design by democratizing access to traditionally complex and expensive tools,” said Kate Marsden, Canva’s partnership marketing lead, in the same statement. “We’re incredibly excited to be integrating with TikTok and leveling the playing field for content creators and small business owners to develop really authentic, engaging, and visually compelling content with Canva’s simple platform and ever-growing library of templates.”
Both Vimeo and Canva now join the ranks of official TikTok partners, companies that TikTok sees as vital in its role of helping small businesses to recover and flourish. For more information on the partnerships, visit tiktok.com/business.
