Leave it to Tiffany & Co. to unveil a collection that is on a very basic level nature-themed, and another, enchantingly chic. Perfectly timed for Mother’s Day, graduations, and other springtime gifting opportunities, it’s also quite cleverly assorted across a range of price points, so that clients of all means may easily ensnare one of the butterflies, bees, ladybugs, and other flights of fancy that comprise Return to Tiffany Love Bugs.
Inspired by an urban garden, every piece tips its (flowered) hat to the jewelry house’s legacy of celebrating flora and fauna. Simple shapes have been artfully extracted from the original Return to Tiffany collection and transformed into a pastiche of designs both delightful and modern.
“With Return to Tiffany Love Bugs, we created a new iteration of an iconic collection that starts in a familiar place but ends up in a wider world,” said Reed Krakoff, chief artistic officer for Tiffany & Co. “This jewelry collection is broader than the original Return to Tiffany in its look, in its materials, and in its attitude.”
And if the lookbook images, shared below and up top, are any indication, the pieces layer well with diamond tennis bracelets, necklaces, and studs, a great way to balance the whimsy or breathe new life into last year’s (or last decade’s) Mother’s Day baubles.
I call my daughter “love bug”—and will clearly be reminding my husband of this when I forward him this post later today….
