Leading Indian jewelry retailer Tanishq has opened stores in Houston and Frisco, Texas.

The store in Frisco spans over 5,000 square feet, while the Houston store is 3,800 square feet. These mark Tanishq’s second and third locations in the United States. Earlier this year, the company opened its first U.S. store in Islen, N.J.

Tanishq is owned by India’s Tata Group. The brand noted that Texas is home to the second largest Indian American population in the United States (after California), with over 450,000 Indian Americans residing in the state. Most live in or near large cities. Frisco is in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area, about 30 miles from Dallas.
