Tacori has a new collection—and it has nothing to do with its wildly popular engagement ring and wedding band designs. Called Love, Los Angeles, it’s a demi-fine capsule created in collaboration with Who What Wear, the media brand known for its addictive fashion, shopping, and celebrity style content. (Worlds colliding: Who What Wear’s fashion editor, Lauren Eggertsen, was a member of our trend panel held during JCK Luxury 2018 and spoke passionately and knowledgeably about the kind of jewelry today’s consumer wants to wear.)
Tacori announced the launch earlier this week, noting that Love, Los Angeles marks the first time the company has created a capsule collection with any brand or media partner. The decision to collaborate with Who What Wear was powered by the site’s authority in the fashion space and unique audience-driven content strategy—one that’s strongly focused on trend reporting and predictions.
The 31-piece collection, made in California, is focused on layerable and everyday-chic necklaces, rings, earrings, and bracelets that celebrate the casual elegance of Los Angeles, where both brands happen to be based. There are plentiful personalization options, whether it’s a monogram or a hand-picked jumble of mix-and-match charms on one of the line’s many delicate chain necklaces.
Made in 10k gold and accented with semiprecious gemstones such as citrine, garnet, peridot, Swiss blue topaz, onyx, and amethyst, the jewelry naturally lends itself to self-purchasing and self-expression, and customers will have no shortage of styling ideas, thanks to Who What Wear’s keen eye, led by editor in chief Kat Collings.
Love, Los Angeles is now available for purchase on tacori.com; select Tacori retail partners will also be offered the opportunity to carry a curated collection of in-store exclusives from the capsule.
A Tacori pop-up experience is scheduled to take place this December at the Grove shopping center in L.A., where Love, Love Angeles and other exclusive items will be on offer for a limited time.
