Swarovski has named Dr. Stephan Mechnig its new chief legal and compliance officer, effective Oct. 1.

Mechnig joins Swarovski from Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller, a German manufacturer of dairy products, where he has been general counsel and chief compliance officer since 2014. He has also worked as corporate counsel for a variety of other consumer brands, including Nestle, Wrigley, and Coca-Cola.
