Suspect Charged in Indiana Jewelry Murder

A convicted robber released from prison four months ago has been charged with the murder of a jewelry store owner last week in Indiana according to a local news report.

According to the report, police charged 34-year-old Michael Inman with the murder of David Pedigo after questioning him for his involvement in a different robbery. Inman was found with eight rings, leading the police to believe he was connected with the Fountain Square jewelry store murder. A gun the suspect discarded matched the bullet that killed Pedigo. The report also points out that if prosecutors don’t chose to seek the death penalty, convictions in the two cases carry at least 45 to 115 years in prison.
