Dubai 2024 Show Moved From February to November
Next year’s Jewellery, Gem & Technology in Dubai (JGTD) show has been rescheduled, and will now be held Nov. 12–14, 2024.
The event, which was originally scheduled for Feb. 6–8, 2024, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, has changed dates to accommodate its relocation to the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC). The show’s new dates address a critical buying time for retailers: as they’re embarking on the holiday season.
DEC has state-of-the-art facilities and amenities and is convenient to the Dubai Metro Route 2020 commuter train line and to major attractions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) city.
“The move to DEC represents an exciting step forward, further solidifying JGTD’s position as a global meeting point where new products are discovered, inspiring ideas are shared, and connections are forged,” said Celine Lau, director of jewelry fairs at show organizer Informa Markets, in a statement. “JGTD’s distinctive positioning will also be magnified as it transitions to its new venue, solidifying its prominent position in the jewelry trade show calendar.”
2024 will mark the third edition of JGTD, and the event is expected to showcase approximately 400 exhibitors from 25 countries and regions. Key partners in presenting JGTD are Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the Dubai Gold & Jewellery Group.

Dubai has established itself as a prime B2B trading hub, commanding the unwavering attention of the international gem and jewelry community through key events such as JGTD,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman and chief executive officer of DMCC, in a statement. “The JGTD 2024 comes at an important time for the industry, as the baton passes to the UAE to chair the vital Kimberley Process for 2024.
