Rahaminov to Debut New Ad Campaign for JCK Las Vegas 2019

Family-owned fine jeweler Rahaminov has a brand-new ad campaign that will serve as the focal point of its presence at JCK Las Vegas.

The campaign, which features two models—a first for the brand—was styled and photographed by an in-house team and shot locally near the brand’s Los Angeles offices. It features a mix of full color and black-and-white images, spotlighting a variety of Rahaminov’s jewelry. Its latest statement pieces, diamond classics “with a twist,” and the brand’s signature moval-cut diamond make appearances in the ads.

The imagery is featured in Rahaminov’s industry trade advertising campaigns and will make its way to the brand’s social media during the third and fourth quarters. It will also be available to Rahaminov’s network of retailers for use in co-op advertising this fall.

“We were excited by the thought of something different,” said Melanie Goldfiner, director of business development. “Different faces, different product, showcased in an exciting, seductive, nuanced manner.”

Muzo Introducing New Program to Promote Colombian Emeralds

Muzo Emerald Colombia is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and, as part of the celebration, has planned a series of initiatives to spotlight Colombian emeralds.

To educate consumers about its “Mine to Maison” philosophy, Muzo will kick off its yearlong program at JCK Las Vegas. It’s set to include the reveal of a new signature jewelry collection and consumer-facing website as well as an expanded collaboration with emerging and established jewelry designers.

Muzo’s new signature jewelry line, the Heritage collection—which will be on display at JCK Las Vegas—is inspired by a cache of Colombian emerald treasures recovered from a 1622 shipwreck and uses old-world techniques to create the pieces. More than 150,000 carats of emeralds were sorted before arriving at the 15,000 carats incorporated into the finished collection.

“As we arrive at our 10th anniversary, we are thrilled to celebrate all that we have accomplished in a relatively short time frame,” said Gabbi Harvey, head of business development and designer outreach for Muzo, in a statement. “We have seen improved living and working conditions for our work force and a boost to the local economy, along with significant awareness of our mission from both the industry and end consumers. Thanks to these efforts, Muzo has become synonymous with emeralds, and we look forward to solidifying this position as we enter our second decade.”

At JCK Las Vegas, Muzo will display more than 100 pieces of jewelry, including the earrings, necklaces, rings, and bracelets that comprise its complete Heritage collection as well as a selection from the Green Jewelry collection, its collaboration with Argyle Pink Diamonds. Just Perfect MSP, a family-owned and operated company, has announced it’s been awarded two U.S. patents for its Perfect Fit technology, which prevents rings from spinning around on the finger, or falling to one side.

The patented technology places additional metal weight on the bottom of a ring’s shank to ensure the center stone remains at the top of the wearer’s finger. “As today’s rings get heavier on top, women are faced with the dilemma of having their engagement diamond or ring ‘focal point’ fall to the side or, alternatively, having the rings sized to fight tightly in order to prevent this from occurring,” said Edward Zylka, president of Just Perfect MSP, in a statement. “Both situations are uncomfortable. Therefore, we developed Perfect Fit to combat this.”
