On Monday morning, longtime associates of the Lafayette, La.-based manufacturer presented a custom-made platinum and 22k gold mokume gane pin to Matthew Stuller to thank him for 40 great years.
At a time when many American manufacturers have relocated at least some portion of their businesses overseas, Stuller still remains resolute in its commitment to American manufacturing and employees in company headquarters in Lafayette, La. To honor the company and celebrate its 40 years of business, a group of associates, who’ve been with Stuller for 25 years or more, from the manufacturing team, crafted a commemorative pin for Matthew Stuller.
The pin is made of platinum and 22k gold mokume gane, and was presented to Stuller this morning in a surprise ceremony, complete with as a massive sheet cake. “There wasn’t a dry eye in the room,” said a company spokesperson.
Employees thanked Stuller for helping them to become the master artisans and craftsmen they are today, and called Stuller an “inspiration, mentor, and leader” whom employees would be proud to stand beside for another 40 years.
