New York City–based fine jewelry retailer Stone & Strand debuted a collection of engagement rings this week designed in collaboration with up-and-coming NYC fine jewelry brand Jemma Wynne.
Jemma Wynne x Stone & Strand is (so far) a six-piece collection of 14 ct. white gold and diamond bridal designs, priced from $2,520 to $9,870.
All six styles pack a sartorial punch; the designs are refreshingly geometric and entirely devoid of undue flourishes.
There are certainly no extraneous lines or curves in the Double Pave Hexagon Frame Diamond Ring (pictured above)—a beautifully blunt design that replaces the tight circles and ovals of a classic halo ring with evenly spaced-out pavé diamonds orbiting a round diamond set into a white gold hexagon (which looks coolest when rhodium-plated, but is also available without plating).
Equally chic is the Open Round Diamond Ring (shown below), which masterfully remixes the classic solitaire by setting the center diamond to the side in an open-top design.
Jemma Wynne designers Jenny Klatt and Stephanie Wynne Lalin launched their fine jewelry collection in 2008 and have become favorites with red-carpet denizens including Rihanna, Jessica Biel, Kristen Bell, Reese Witherspoon, and Olivia Palermo.
Stone & Strand launched in 2013 as an e-commerce business but opened an appointment-only showroom in 2016 in downtown NYC.
