
Sterling Jewelers’ executive vice president and chief financial officer, Bob Trabucco, was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business with the CFO of the Year Award in the “Medium-Sized Public Company, Retail” category.
“Bob’s leadership is the guiding force in continuously improving the company’s financial processes, reporting and initiative-driven results,” said Mark Light, Sterling’s president and CEO, in a statement. “Bob promotes teamwork and collaboration while challenging his teams to reach higher goals by providing insight as emerging issues are identified, and expectations can be set for the business.”
Trabucco joined Akron, Ohio–based Sterling Jewelers in 2003. His areas of responsibility include finance and treasury, taxes, legal and compliance, loss prevention, credit operations, and recovery services
Crain’s CFO of the Year Awards honor top financial officers for their outstanding fiscal leadership and asset management. An independent panel of financial professionals judged nominations. Consideration was given to the CFO’s contributions to their company’s overall growth, commitment to good ethics, effective reporting, and involvement in the community.
