As Haute Couture Week pushes full steam ahead in Paris, Sotheby’s Paris is auctioning a fashion-forward collection of over 140 pieces, The Fashion Collection – Private Treasures of a Refined Lady, and the jewels aren’t to be missed.

“Coming face to face with this extensive and exhaustive selection of fashion items and accessories, immaculately displayed in a flat in Paris, was one of those moments when I knew, at a glance, that I was looking at a truly extraordinary collection,” said Aurélie Vassy, Sotheby’s Paris European head of sale for handbags and fashion, in a statement. “It is the embodiment of consistently impeccable taste, from a passionate collector who assembled a spectacular and timeless wardrobe I would consider to be the most representative of the much-loved ‘Parisian chic’ aesthetic that I have ever seen. The perfect place to start or expand a fashion collection with some of fashion history’s most iconic creations, the sale is sure to capture the imagination of followers of fashion all over the world, with estimates starting from 1,000 euros.”
