Sotheby’s Appoints Global Head of Content

Sotheby’s has named Nick Marino, formerly of watch publication Hodinkee, its new global head of content.

Marino will have responsibility for developing a content strategy across all Sotheby’s platforms, including its website, app, social media, newsletters, livestreams, market reports, and quarterly print magazine. He will supervise a team of editors, producers, and external contributors and will report to Gareth Jones, Sotheby’s chief marketing officer.

Prior to coming to Sotheby’s, Marino was the executive vice president of Hodinkee, overseeing content. During the first 18 years of his career, he covered popular culture for newspapers and magazines, served as senior editor at GQ, was on the editorial staff of Apple, and worked at Levis’s as global copy director.
