Lab-grown diamond company Smiling Rocks has appointed Baird Boucher (pictured) as its national sales director for the United States.
A GIA graduate, Boucher has more than 30 years’ experience in the diamond and jewelry industry. He’s worked with a variety of brands, including Bizzotto, Fope, Piero Milano, Zydo, Mastoloni pearls, and Universal Genève watches, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Boucher got his start working with famed San Francisco jeweler Sidney Mobell, eventually becoming his director of sales.
“Smiling Rocks is very excited to have Baird be a part of our growing family,” said Zulu Ghevriya, the brand’s cofounder and CEO, in a statement. “His energy, enthusiasm, and excellent sales experience is beyond imagination.
