The Seven x Dyne Returns With Golden, Detail-Rich Second Collaboration

Some of the best jewelry partnerships start with admiration, like the connection between The Seven’s Camille Zarsky and jewelry designer Sarah Ysabel Dyne Narici. They just get each other as artists and creatives.

That is what led to Zarsky first reaching out to Narici, the founder of fine jewelry brand Dyne. Their first jewelry collaboration is nearly sold out, so it was a no-brainer to come together again for a second limited-edition capsule, which is available now at The Seven in Manhattan’s West Village, Dyne’s exclusive retail partner.

“Her designs resonated with our customers and there was demand for more,” Zarsky says. “She is incredibly talented and has really fresh ideas and designs. Sarah also brings extremely special, personal collections to the jewelry scene, which is something I’ve seen a void in the market for.”

Dyne’s design for The Seven collab on this zodiac ring hides certain details like the sign’s name inside for only the wearer to see.

Zarsky’s great sense of what her clients will love is what Narici says she admires about the jewelry retailer.

“Camille has a true respect for originality and creative ideas. She was very open to my creative expression and very open to nontraditional ideas,” Narici says.

The Seven x Dyne collaboration in this second iteration centers on bangles, amulets, and zodiac rings that are engraved with Dyne’s signature glyphs. Add in the warmth of 18k gold, custom-cut gemstones, and sparkling diamonds, and you have jewelry that feels ancient and mystical as well as modern and even a bit futuristic.

Dyne and The Seven gave JCK a bit of a sneak peek of the designs, which will soon be on The Seven’s website and available for purchase.

Diamonds highlight the gylphs Dyne uses in its jewelry to accent its 18k gold but also to bring more drama to the shapes found there, like the shield.

“Sarah is a designer that I completely trust—I really lean on her to decide where she wants to take our collaborations,” Zarsky says. “She’s a true creative and our relationship has grown so much that I really just want to give her the reins to design what she feels is special and appropriate for the store. I truly feel there’s nothing she can create that I won’t immediately love.”

Narici says she wants The Seven’s clients to sense that her jewelry is rare and unique, but it also is not so precious that it must be stored away in a jewelry box or museum.

“These are pieces to be enjoyed every day. They contain a lot of gold and have a great weight when held. They have a presence,” Narici says.

Seven Dyne bangle
The Seven x Dyne bangle features a mix of ancient symbols with diamonds and 18k gold for a weighty yet modern take on this bracelet design.

Zarsky says the zodiac rings in this second collaboration are among her favorites. The design is such that the actual sign remains inside the ring so only the wearer knows it is there.

“I love the shape, weight, and that they’re a less traditional take on a zodiac,” Zarsky says. “I always love these touches Sarah creates for each piece.”

Narici says one of her standout pieces from the group is the Cloud ring, which features different astrological symbols along its surface. Another is the amulet pendant with a portrait-cut shield diamond.

“All of these pieces hold little secret details that only the wearer will be aware of—from little engravings on the reverse of things to pavé on the inside of bands to words written on the undersides of rings,” Narici says.
