Two special seminars, a bridal market conference, and a giveaway of $50,000 in cash and merchandise are among the events scheduled during The Ireland Show, April 21-24 at the Embassy Suites in Secaucus, N.J.
Toni DiLisi, New Jersey State coordinator of the Association of Bridal Consultants, will lead a session on the latest ideas in weddings on April 22 at 9:30 a.m. On the same day Joseph Kennedy will be the presented with the “The Irish Heart Award” in recognition of his efforts to assistant financially challenged people acquire heating fuel at reduced rates.
On April 23, John Holub, president of the New Jersey Retail Merchants Association, will discuss retailing and government issues in a keynote address at 8:30 a.m.
Caroline Kennedy, editor of Gifts & Decorative Accessories magazine will discuss the latest trends in the gift industry on April 24 at 8:30 a.m.
The Ireland Show will feature a selection of merchandise from more than 200 vendors representing Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and England. Product categories include jewelry, apparel, giftware, tableware, gourmet, stationery, religious goods, and scented products.
Exhibitors include Solvar Jewelry, Reed and Barton, Tipperary Crystal, Mullingar Pewter, Branigan Weavers, Philip Gray Artwork, St. Nicholas Gifts, Guinness Licensed Goods, Abbey Press, Cathedral Art Metal and Donegal Linens.
There will also be drawings daily for cash and prizes, including trips to Ireland and $40,000 in cash or merchandise, along with concerts and banquets.
Open to the trade only, credentials will be checked at the door.
