A second suspect has been arrested in the murder of a Georgia jeweler, according to a press release from local police.
Police officially identified owner Mitch Mobley, 45, as the victim of the June 26 fatal shooting at the Villa Rica, Ga., jewelry store.
According to police, four men allegedly entered the store to rob it, one of them armed with a hammer to break display cases and another with a gun, according to news reports. Shots were fired, killing Mobley, after he confronted the suspects. A fifth person is believed to have driven a get-away vehicle.
Early on June 27, police apprehended Raphael Rucker, 23, who has been charged with murder and armed robbery in the case.
Police already had arrested the suspected shooter arrested shortly after the crime. The 16-year-old male is being charged as an adult with murder, armed robbery, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
The other suspects, who are said to have fled in a small black vehicle, are still at large.
