The manufacturer of point-of-sale apps sold for $1.2 million
Sarine Technologies has acquired Diamining, which develops point-of-sale applications for diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry, for $1.2 million in cash.
Diamining’s apps, already used by more than 100 retailers and traders in major markets, will be incorporated into Sarine’s offerings.
By using product information and digital imagery, Diamining’s apps let buyers create a virtual inventory, linking settings manufacturers with loose stone dealers, says a Sarine statement. Its products can be integrated into many commonly used inventory management systems and are available for Android and iOS.
