Quietly powerful, light as a feather. That’s designer Mattia Cielo‘s mantra where it concerns jewelry-making. Take a look at the Vicenza, Italy–based brand’s jewels and you see it rings true, that sense of wearable luxury that’s eye-catching yet approachable.
Wearability, flexibility, and lightness—the brand’s trio of design hallmarks—are clearly visible in its Rugiada (translation: dew) line, with its signature spiral the key feature in a series of flexible bracelets, rings, and hoop earrings.

Its original iteration was the bracelet, a slinky of diamonds or gemstones (or both) in silky 18k gold. Then came the hoops—big and bold—and the rings, like miniature versions of the bracelet created for the finger.

The latest variations to the collection are what the brand fondly refers to as its collection “on steroids,” and for good reason; more substantial in both style and substance, the jewels feature larger stones and a higher price point, while maintaining the brand’s signature look.
Rows of round brilliant diamonds dance along flexible spirals of yellow, white, or rose gold, with some options also set with emerald-cut diamonds for a maximum sparkle. Though the styles are indeed an elevated take on the luxurious everyday pieces Mattia Cielo offers, they maintain the brand’s signature lightness and bounce.

The collection made its debut at the 2023 VicenzaOro show, and it is currently on preview via select trunk shows throughout the United States before making its official stateside debut at Couture in June.
